This store in Locke was originally established in 1916 by a Chinese co-operative which had operated in Walnut Grove. In the early 1960's two employees, George Mar and Stanford King purchased the store. George operated the butcher shop and Stanford the grocery. The store is still currently run by the Mar family.
This market opens Tuesday through Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm.
